This Bongo needed extensive structural repairs to pass its MOT safely. Rust in key load-bearing areas like the chassis legs, sills, and cross members can compromise the entire structure, so we carried out a full welding restoration.

Why We Do This: Chassis rust is one of the biggest threats to a Bongo’s lifespan. We cut out all corroded sections, welded in fresh metal, and sealed everything—ensuring this van is now MOT-ready and rock solid for years to come.
Full Lower-Half Respray – A Fresh New Look
The first step in this transformation was a professional respray of the entire lower half of the Bongo. This wasn’t just a cosmetic upgrade—it was about sealing and protecting the bodywork from future corrosion while delivering a factory-fresh finish.

Engine Upgrades & Cooling System Protection ️
To keep this Bongo running smoothly and reliably, we carried out important engine and cooling system upgrades, ensuring long-term protection against overheating.

✅ Rocker Cover Gasket Replacement – Preventing oil leaks for a healthier engine
✅ Coolant Auto Bleed Kit – Eliminating airlocks for efficient cooling

Undersealing – Long-Term Rust Prevention ️
Once all structural repairs were completed, we fully rubbed down and undersealed the entire underbody. This protects the chassis from rust and road salt, extending the Bongo’s lifespan.
✨ Why We Do This: Without proper undersealing, Bongos are vulnerable to corrosion—especially in the UK’s wet climate. A fully sealed underbody means this van is now ready for the road, no matter the weather!
