Refunds and Returns Policy

Second Hand Car Parts

Overview

We sell used and reconditioned car parts. All items are checked before dispatch and described honestly based on their age, mileage where known, and condition. Because these are second hand parts, normal wear and cosmetic marks should be expected unless stated otherwise.

This policy sets out your rights and our obligations under UK consumer law.


Your Statutory Rights

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, all parts must be:

  • As described

  • Fit for purpose

  • Of satisfactory quality, taking into account that they are second hand

Your statutory rights are not affected by this policy.


Returns for Faulty or Misdescribed Parts

If a part is faulty or not as described, you are entitled to a remedy.

Within 30 days of delivery

  • You are entitled to a full refund.

  • The refund will include the original standard delivery cost.

  • We will cover reasonable return postage costs.

After 30 days and within 6 months

  • We may offer a repair or replacement where possible.

  • If repair or replacement is not possible or fails, you are entitled to a refund.

  • A deduction may be made to reflect use if applicable.

Faults must not be due to incorrect fitting, misuse, modification, or normal wear and tear.


Incorrectly Ordered or Unwanted Parts

If you have ordered the wrong part or no longer want it, different rules apply.

Distance sales only
If the part was purchased online, by phone, or by mail order, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of delivery.

Conditions:

  • The part must be unused, unfitted, and in the same condition as supplied.

  • You must notify us within 14 days of delivery.

  • You must return the item within 14 days of cancellation.

  • Return postage costs are your responsibility.

  • Original delivery costs are non refundable.

Once the part has been fitted or installed, it cannot be returned unless faulty.


Non Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return unless faulty or misdescribed:

  • Parts that have been fitted or attempted to be fitted

  • Electrical components once installed

  • Custom ordered or specially sourced parts

  • Parts damaged due to incorrect installation


Condition of Returned Items

Returned items must be:

  • Securely packaged

  • Complete and unmodified

  • Free from additional damage

We reserve the right to refuse a refund or reduce the refund amount if the part has been mishandled or damaged after delivery.


Refund Timescales

Approved refunds will be processed within 14 days of:

  • Receiving the returned item, or

  • Receiving proof of return

Refunds will be issued using the original payment method where possible.


How to Request a Return

Please contact us with:

  • Your order number

  • Part description

  • Reason for return

  • Clear photos where a fault is claimed

Returns sent without prior contact may be delayed or refused.


Trade and Business Customers

This policy applies to consumers only. Business to business sales are excluded from consumer cancellation rights and are subject to separate terms.
