VEHICLE WELDER / FABRICATOR WANTED
Why Work at Mazda Bongo Auto Centre?
More Than a General Garage
Mazda Bongo Auto Centre is a specialist business, which means the work we carry out is varied, technical and often very different from the day-to-day jobs found in a conventional garage.
One day may involve routine servicing or mechanical repairs, while another could include welding, restoration work, bespoke campervan conversions, interior fitting or preparing a vehicle for its next adventure.
Because we work almost exclusively with Mazda Bongos, our team develops specialist knowledge that is difficult to gain anywhere else.
You will be working alongside people who understand these vehicles, care about the quality of the finished job and take pride in producing work that customers genuinely value.
The Kind of People We Look For
Skill Matters, but Attitude Matters Too
We want people who care about doing a job properly.
Depending on the role, we may be looking for experience in:
- Vehicle servicing and mechanical repairs
- Welding and fabrication
- Bodywork and paint preparation
- Campervan conversions
- Auto electrics
- Interior fitting and trimming
- Vehicle preparation
- Workshop support
- Parts and stock management
- Customer service and administration
However, technical experience is only part of it.
We also value people who are:
- Reliable
- Organised
- Able to work independently
- Comfortable working as part of a team
- Willing to learn
- Careful with customers’ vehicles
- Proud of the quality of their work
- Able to solve problems rather than simply work around them
For some roles, experience with Mazda Bongos will be useful, but it is not necessarily essential if you already have strong relevant skills.
Why Work With Us?
Mazda Bongo Auto Centre is a specialist workshop, so the work is varied and often very different from a conventional garage.
Our team works across servicing, repairs, welding, restoration, bodywork and bespoke campervan conversions. That means there is plenty of opportunity to build specialist knowledge, develop new skills and work on interesting projects rather than repeating the same jobs every day.
We take pride in doing things properly and are looking for people who share that approach.
Based in Saltney, Chester
Mazda Bongo Auto Centre is based at River Lane, Saltney, Chester, CH4 8RH.
Our site brings together mechanical repairs, bodywork, welding, restoration and campervan conversion work, with different parts of the team regularly working together on larger projects.
