A loyal customer brought their van to us with corroded rear wheel arches, a faded paint job, and a few battle scars from years on the road. We took it as our mission to breathe new life into this beautiful van. Here’s how we did it:
Restoring the Essentials
First up, we tackled those corroded rear wheel arches. By cutting out the damaged areas and replacing them with genuine Mazda Bongo wheel arches, we laid the foundation for a long-lasting, rust-free finish. Every dent, scratch, and touch of rust was meticulously treated so this van would look its best from every angle.
Full Body Respray
After the structural work, it was time to give this Bongo a makeover with a full respray in the original Mazda Bongo silver, making sure it looked fresh, bright, and ready for the next adventure. We even refreshed the roof and bumpers to bring it all together and ensure that every inch gleamed.
Finishing Touches
No Bongo restoration is complete without the small details that make a big impact! All black plastic trims were refurbished to look like new, and since the wheels were in rough shape, we refurbished the alloy wheels at no extra cost. It’s the little things that matter, and we didn’t stop there. We also undersealed all the inner wheel arches to keep corrosion at bay.
The Extra Mile
To top it all off, we surprised the customer with brand-new Mazda Bongo floor mats and fresh number plates featuring Bongo-specific details. Seeing their reaction to the completed project, especially the added touches, made every extra effort worthwhile.
