Every Mazda Bongo that arrives at our workshop carries a story. Some come for a touch-up. Others, like this beauty, are here for a full revival. This van wasn’t just due for some repairs. It was ready to begin a new chapter, and that chapter began with our Bronze Restoration Package.
A Journey Back to Beauty
The owner of this Bongo had always loved their van, but over time, the lower bodywork had begun to show its age. While the structure underneath was still solid, the van needed a fresh look to match the pride and memories it held. After discussing a few options together, we landed on something truly special: a full bottom-half colour change to a rich, deep ruby red.
Not just any red, either. This was a carefully mixed shade with a blend of pearl and metallic flake, giving the paintwork a glistening, almost gem-like finish when sunlight hits the panels. It’s a colour that catches the eye and holds it, adding a completely new personality to a beloved Bongo.
The Bronze Treatment
As part of the Bronze Mazda Bongo Restoration Package, we carried out:
- New genuine Mazda rear wheel arches, fitted and blended seamlessly into the body
- A full bottom-half respray in deep ruby red with a pearl and metallic tint
- Front and rear bumper repaints to ensure every angle of the van felt complete
- Bodywork repairs on all lower panels, making sure the finish was flawless
- A spare wheel fitted at no cost, to complete the look and offer added peace of mind
To complete the transformation, we also addressed a paint issue on the top of the roof, refinishing it to restore a consistent look across the entire vehicle. During inspection, we looked into a possible battery drain, and although it required further investigation, the check was done free of charge as part of our comprehensive care.
Complimentary Finishing Touches
We always say that the little details matter. That’s why this van left with more than just great paintwork. We included:
- Custom floor mats to match the van’s fresh interior feel
- New decals, specifically designed to suit Mazda Bongos and give it that factory-finished look
- Polished detailing all around, because we believe every van deserves to leave here feeling like new
