A couple reached out to us with a clear idea of what they wanted and a budget. They had been searching online, looking through listings, and trying to find something that matched their needs.

At any given time, we have a large number of Mazda Bongos in preparation.
These are vans being built, upgraded, and finished to the same standard as everything we sell. However, many of them are not yet listed online.
In fact, a significant number of these vans are sold before they are ever advertised.

Matching the Right Van to the Right People
After discussing what they were looking for, we were able to match this couple with a van that was already in prep.
The base vehicle was a 2.5 V6 petrol Mazda Bongo with just 70,000 miles. A strong starting point and ideal for building a reliable, enjoyable camper.
From there, the specification lined up perfectly with what they had been searching for.
A Fully Equipped Side Conversion
This Mazda Bongo campervan was built with a full side conversion, giving it everything needed for practical day-to-day use and longer trips.
The layout included:
- A large rock and roll bed
- Sink and tap with water storage tanks
- Twin gas burner for cooking
- Built-in storage throughout
In addition, the electrical system was fully set up with:
- 240V hook-up and twin power sockets
- Leisure battery with split charge system
- USB charging points
- 12V lighting
This created a van ready to use from day one, without further work or upgrades.
Built for Comfort in All Conditions
To make the van usable year-round, it was fitted with a diesel night heater. This ensures warmth and comfort even in colder conditions.
A solar panel system was also installed, helping to maintain power when off-grid and reducing reliance on external hookups.
As a result, the van is just as capable on longer trips as it is on short getaways.
Sleeping Space for Four
One of the standout features of this Mazda Bongo campervan is its sleeping setup.
With a pop-top roof, the van comfortably sleeps four people. The rock-and-roll bed provides space below, while the upper roof bed offers additional room without compromising the living area.
Because of this, it is ideal for couples, families or anyone who wants flexibility when travelling.
A One-Off Finish That Stands Out
To complete the build, the van received a full set of colour-coded bumpers, spoilers and grille.
It was then finished in a custom-mixed colour: a gold-green flip pearl that changes tone depending on the light. This gives the van a unique look that sets it apart from standard finishes.
It is subtle at first glance, but once you see it in person, the effect is clear.
Ready for the Road with Peace of Mind
Alongside the build, the van was supplied with a full engine, gearbox and diff service, a twelve-month MOT and a strong after-sales package.
This ensures the new owners can enjoy the van with confidence, knowing everything has been properly prepared and checked.
