Custom Paint and Bodywork
The customer wanted a color scheme that truly stood out, and we delivered! This Bongo received a stunning pearl gold over metallic silver respray, making it a true showstopper. To complete the look, we color-coded the mirrors, roof, front grille, and rear tailboard. This bold and unique design makes the van look as good as it performs.
Interior Transformation
Inside, we created a luxurious yet functional space, perfect for life on the road. The rear conversion includes a Rock N Roll bed, ideal for those spontaneous camping trips. The front and rear seats were retrimmed in black vinyl with silver diamond stitching, a design that carries through to the door cards for a cohesive look. Even the tops of the door cards were finished with the same material as the seats, and a passenger swivel seat was added for comfort and versatility.
The customer wanted their van to feel like a home away from home, so we refurbished all the carpets and trims to look brand new, ensuring that every detail was perfect.
State-of-the-Art Electrics
No modern camper is complete without the right tech. We installed a 160W slimline solar panel with an MPPT fast charge controller, giving the customer the ability to camp off-grid with ease. The van also boasts a touchscreen media player with a reverse camera, Apple and Android play, and Bluetooth connectivity. For power, we added a 240v hook-up with twin sockets, a leisure battery with a split charge system, and USB points throughout the van. This Bongo is fully equipped for both comfort and adventure.
Reliable Performance
A custom van should not only look good but also run flawlessly. That’s why we carried out a major engine and gearbox service, rear diff service, and installed a new timing belt kit and water pump. For added peace of mind, we fitted a coolant alarm and auto bleed kit, and gave the underbody a full underseal to protect it from the elements. Finally, we refurbished the alloy wheels to give the van a fresh, polished finish.
